Our Vision and Mission

OUR VISION

In 2016, we took a series of steps to create a Vision for our church that we felt would be beneficial to the growth of our family and God's kingdom. We took into consideration how our culture might differ 15 years from now and what kind of an impact we are hoping for this congregation to have on our local and global community. This process took several months, many prayers, and the efforts of numerous people.

So, as we look to 2030, our Vision is to Exalt God, Encourage One Another, and Engage My Neighbor.

EXALT GOD
EXALT GOD

Hebrews 12:1-3 When we see the glory of our God and Christ, our eyes are open to His beauty and majesty. He gives us new eyes: His eyes. Eyes to see the beauty of His bride. Eyes to see people the way He sees them. Often it is through worship that we first encounter and catch a glimpse of Christ.

ENCOURAGE ONE ANOTHER
ENCOURAGE ONE ANOTHER

Acts 2:42-47 This changes our heart. Our heart to grow closer to God through learning more about Him and connecting and walking along with others on the same journey. At its core it is discipleship. It is helping one another grow in our relationship with Christ, one another, and the world around us. We encourage, love one another, laugh together, cry together, rejoice together, and eat together.

ENGAGE MY NEIGHBOR
ENGAGE MY NEIGHBOR

Isaiah 61:1-3 We are growing with others when we go out to engage the world hand in hand. We want to be exceedingly generous with our time, money, and abilities to serve the church and the world. Serving beginning right here in our community and to the ends of the earth.

Vision Breakdown

We’re in the business of life change. It’s our hope that through worship, church community encouragement, and engaging our neighbors we will partner with God in bringing about the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Core Values

So how do we exemplify that vision? What does that look like? It's pretty simple: we commit to serving and loving people like Jesus... and it looks like this!

Pursue God Together

We are committed to pursuing spiritual growth through spiritual disciplines, our weekly gathering and a Bible class.

People Matter

We are committed to people, because people matter to God and people matter to us. As a kingdom of priests we represent God to the world.

Circles Not Rows

We are committed to living life together as a part of a smaller community of believers. Groups serve the purpose of providing accountability, belonging, and care.

Invest & Invite

Because people matter, we are committed to investing in the lives of those around us and inviting them to join us in our journey to follow Jesus.

Seeing Needs, Meeting Needs

We are committed to being exceedingly generous. We give not only our time, but also our money and ourselves for the Kingdom of God.

Multiply Yourself

We are committed to doing ministry together by teaching and empowering others to do what we do.
