TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH

LiveBeyond, Haiti

Shiloh is proud and honored to partner with the LiveBeyond Organization in Thomazeau, Haiti! LiveBeyond is a nonprofit organization that seeks to assist the people of Thomazeau by providing them with good nutrition, medical care, and education. Over the past few years, Shiloh has hosted several “Haiti School Supplies Drive” and a “Back to School Fundraiser” to help the LiveBeyond school hire new teachers and provide their students with uniforms and supplies. We love that this organization is partnering with people in the community to bring about change and to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ! To find out more about LiveBeyond, click here.

Peru

Team Arequipa is comprised families living and working in Arequipa, Peru, a developing city of a million people. This mission outreach was begun in 2008, when Greg and Megan McKinzie and Kyle and Larissa Smith first arrived in Arequipa–and shortly thereafter, the church was established. In order to become better known and involved in the community, CUDA (Christian Urban Development Association), a non-governmental, non-profit, faith-based organization was formed to help overcome cycles of poverty among the working poor. Over time and to further help share the gospel of Christ throughout the community, Team Arequipa has worked extensively with public schools to better reading comprehension skills and is also involved with public health centers to increase awareness of the benefits to a healthy physical and spiritual lifestyle. This work continues with God’s guidance and the dedication of the current four missionary families. For additional information and to meet the team, click here.

France

Daniel and Tammy Frerot live in Strasbourg, France and are building relationships with local families, leading them to Christ and encouraging them to spread the Gospel among their families. They are working to plant new churches in the French-speaking world and have already established leadership training classes to equip young men to preach and teach. Their goal is to create more mission points in surrounding cities.

New Zealand

Shiloh Road supports Skylar and Morgan Ely in their efforts to work and spread the Gospel among the people of New Zealand. They are one of four families that are willing to help people discover what it is like to be part of the Church in today’s culture and society.

The Church plant is called Discover Church: A church belonging to Christ. You can read and find out more about their work and the people they serve on their website and Facebook page. To receive updates, contact Skylar Ely and he will add you to their newsletter email list.

Mexico

Ricardo and Reyna Alvarez and their family continue to work hard in spreading the good news of Jesus in Mexico. They are currently in Torreon where many are being taught and shown the love of Jesus.

Contact Ricardo via Facebook.

The Shiloh Family also sends support to Ramiro Mares who preaches and teaches the gospel to the people living in the northern part of the city of Hidalgo del Parral.

GRACE MEMORIAL FUND

In honor of Emma Grace May, the Grace Memorial Fund was established to reach out to families both within and outside the Shiloh congregation suffering an incomparable loss, the loss of a child. It is the mission of the Grace Memorial Fund to demonstrate God’s love initially by giving a simple gift, a “Grace Box”, while ultimately providing lasting relationships and a network of love.

Opportunities to serve will include prayer, meal preparation, building additional Grace boxes and donations.

To request a Grace Box, or to donate, contact the church office or Erin and Marshall May.
