Matthew 25:1-13
Weddings are special. They require loads of preparation from many people to pull off.

Matthew 25:10-13

“But while they were on their way to buy the oil, the bridegroom arrived. The virgins who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet. And the door was shut. “Later the others also came. ‘Lord, Lord,’ they said, ‘open the door for us!’“But he replied, ‘Truly I tell you, I don’t know you.” “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.”

PREPARATION ≠ PERFECTION

WE’RE NOT PREPARING TO ACHIEVE PERFECTION.

WE’RE PREPARING TO RECEIVE PERFECTION.

Our preparation is about anticipation of a relationship!

JESUS IS LOOKING FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE PREPARED THEIR HEARTS FOR HIM

INTENSIFY INTIMACY

JESUS IS PREPARING A PLACE FOR A PREPARED PEOPLE.

Revelation 19:6-7
Then I heard what sounded like a great multitude, like the roar of rushing waters and like loud peals of thunder, shouting: “Hallelujah! For our Lord God Almighty reigns. Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready.
