Kenzel May

I grew up in Sudan, Texas with my dad, a farmer, and my mother, a teacher and homemaker. I hoed weeds in the cotton fields and drove tractors during the summer. In high school, I enjoyed football and track. My Christian mother read the Bible to me nightly and encouraged me in many ways. I was baptized into Christ at age fourteen. When I was sixteen years old, my life turned upside down when my mother died suddenly in childbirth. I quickly learned how to care for my infant brother and another brother, age ten, while helping my dad who had severe heart trouble.

I earned a degree in electrical engineering from Texas Tech University and while at Tech, I met Anita at the Church of Christ Bible Chair. We married soon afterwards.

I worked for Dallas Power & Light, visited Uncle Sam briefly, and transferred back to west Texas with Texas Electric Service Company. While living in Midland (for 32 years), I began my own electrical engineering company serving the oil companies.

Anita and I have three married children and eight grand-children, one deceased. We are members of Gospel Sharing Ministries and have a passion for evangelism. I am humbled to be able to serve with the wonderful Shiloh family.
