KAITLYN LAKINS
My name is Kaitlyn Lakins and I am from Prosper, Texas, just north of Dallas. I am studying Nursing at the University of Texas at Tyler. I grew up attending the Shawnee Trail Church of Christ in Frisco, Texas and I loved my time as an active member of the youth group there. I gained so many valuable relationships through that church family, so I hoped to be able to find a church home in Tyler where I could find new valuable relationships that would encourage me on my faith journey as I navigated this new phase of life. Shiloh was the first church that I visited and I immediately felt welcomed and encouraged. After a Tuesday night devo in August of 2022, I decided that I wanted to dive into the college ministry and I have been very involved ever since. I have gained so many new friendships through the Shiloh College Ministry and I hope to continue by encouraging others and providing a welcoming place for college-age people!
