Tony Fears

Tony and his wife, Vickie, are life-long residents of Tyler and were John Tyler High School sweethearts. They married in July 1978 and have been blessed with three children and five grandchildren. As a child, Tony attended Northwest Church. As an adolescent, he was baptized at West Erwin. With the exception of a couple of years in Dallas, Tony and Vickie have lived in Smith County their entire lives. They placed membership at Shiloh Road in 1983. Tony is a consulting geologist who attended Texas A&M and graduated from UT Austin and UT Dallas. He’s worked in the energy industry for over 40 years and maintains an office in downtown Tyler. Tony and Vickie reside on their hay farm in the Sand Flat Community, a few steps away from Tyler State Park. Tony became an elder in 2022.
